Flexor Tendinopathy


The Medial Epicondile of the elbow provides the tendinous origin for the flexor muscles in the forearm. Repetitive straining or sudden loading of the Common Flexor Tendon can lead to pain just below the bony prominence on the inside of the forearm. It is often termed “golfer's elbow” and, in climbers, often has the same causes as “tennis elbow”, although less prevalent.
